Take the kids and let the play at Robin Hood as they climb trees and explore their fallen trunks. Revel in the soothing sound of birdsong as you admire fields of bluebells, wild garlic, and hawthorn. Enjoy the delicate serenity of a place untouched by the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Drive to the square-mouthed bay and Estuary, The Wash – among the largest estuaries in the United Kingdom. Watch out for the birds that flock there as you explore extensive salt marshes, lagoons and a lengthy coastline. Follow one of the many scenic walking and cycling trails it has to offer. Set up camp by the inviting shores of Cleethorpes Beach in Grimsby and stroll along miles of sandy beach. Stroll along the pier and take in the beautiful ocean view. Get stuck in with water sports, from canoeing and kayaking to surfing and windsurfing. Hire a deckchair to kick back and bask in the sunshine and feel great as you head back to your campervan with a tan.
